Yes, you can perform a vaginal swab test during your period. A small amount of blood should not affect the sample. However, we recommend avoiding taking the sample during days when you have a heavy flow to lower the chance of receiving insufficient results. If you have already taken your test sample during your period, don't worry- the reliability of your results will not be affected.
